Association (FCCMA) and National Alliance for
Innovation Annual Conference
The 2011 Alliance for Innovation and FCCMA
Conference was held this week in Clearwater. I
was among the hundreds of City and County
Managers from throughout the Country and Canada
who attended this outstanding event, which
provided a great variety of educational and
social opportunities to assist in managing the
many challenges faced by today’s local
governments.
The attendees heard about some of the most
innovative programs in the Country, directly
from the teams that created them. Detailed

2012 Tax Value Projections
We received the estimate of non-exempt tax
values from the County Property Appraiser this
week. This document is for budget planning
purposes only. The City’s projections are as
