COLUMBIA COUNTY, FL – HCA Florida Suwannee Emergency, formerly Shands Live Oak, invites the North Florida community to celebrate the holiday season by attending Santa Night this Friday evening, December 16.

Santa Night will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at HCA Florida Suwannee Emergency in Live Oak. Admission to the family-friendly event is free and open to the community.

Jill Adams, CEO of HCA Florida Lake City Hospital (formerly Lake City Medical Center), said, "We value our Suwannee County community, and this event is our way to give back to the families of the area. Families will experience a fun-filled evening with activities for children of all ages.”

The holiday celebration will kick off with a grand entrance by Santa Claus at 5:30 p.m., with free professional photos to follow. An outside movie screen will play favorite holiday films for children to enjoy. The evening will also include face painting and crafts.

Children are encouraged to bring their favorite toy to the event for a “toy check-up.” Each toy will receive a certificate of health signed by HCA Florida Suwannee Emergency clinical staff. Families can also enjoy a sweet treat of hot chocolate and cookies at the event.

Santa Night will be held outside at HCA Florida Suwannee Emergency at 1100 11th SW, Live Oak, FL 32064.

The event is free to residents and visitors of North Florida. More information can be found by phone at 386-719-9040.
